Hi, I'm Kelsey
I am a studio and editorial photographer from the South Wales Valleys.
Who am I?
Who am I? Who do I want to be? That is the burning question. What I know so far is that my name is Kelsey Roberts, and I am a photojournalist who found photography by accident through my A-Level studies. I have become very accustomed to holding a camera in my hands where I have convinced myself that my fingers are moulded to the grip. My goal is to give people a voice and be able to tell their stories through my photography.
My Vison
I have always loved how people look in front of the camera. I have found myself thinking about my community and how I can help it become something again. This has come from years of being entirely grateful to the many people who have encouraged and supported me throughout my photography journey. This will always be a big part of who I am, it’s where I started with my photos, and I will always carry them with me. Life needs a way of being held in a time piece and the camera does just that. History books can be rewritten but a photograph can never be retaken.
